$750 huh ? is that one of those new platinum and gold plated reservoirs that "cools" 350% better than a standard, non-plated reservoir?

Do you mean AST? They tend to break often.

You can buy new replacements for $150.
Go here http://rx7.com/store/rx7/fdengine_cooling.html
and scroll down to
AST Air Separator Tank

If you are talking about that plastic tank in front of the passenger side front wheel, buy a used one here from someone or call Ray Crowe at Malloy Mazda. His contact is in the FAQ thread which you should read regardless: https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/faq-3rd-gen-other-useful-links-68640/

If you're referring to the AST, I have one in EXCELLENT shape for... umm, I think it's listed at $35? Anyways, if you're interested, I'll look into it for you. I can have it shipped by tomorrow

EDIT: It's $30 shipped It's the piece in pic#4 all the way to the right, under the rear turbo inlet pipe:

Brand new ASTs are $75. Brand new coolant overflow reservoirs are about $150. $750 has to be a mistake.

Call malloy, Ray will absolutely get you the right part and you'll get a very fair price.

It's unlikely that there is anything wrong with your overflow tank. It sounds like it is just overflowing. There can be a number of reasons for this to happen. I suggest that you remove your airbox, and start the engine. Make sure that nothing can fall into the intake tubes before you start it. Let the engine warm up, and watch for where the leak comes from. It's most likely that the overflow tank is overflowing, and is functioning properly.

The overflow tank is overfilling? Is the motor running fine, no smoke or hard starting? I'm just thinking worst-case scenario
