ok so next issue... any thoughts on why the coolant level light would come on even if the coolant is full? tried grounding the wire to the sensor, I thinks that's what is does to sense the level and no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you grounding the sensor side or harness side?

It takes about 15 or 20 seconds for the light and buzzer to turn off once grounded. This drove me nuts when I was trying to figure out my level sensor issue

Ensure the coolant disconnect plug is also connected. The level sensor plugs into the emissions harness but it routes through to the engine harness on the drivers side. If it is disconnected here, it will be as if the sensor is disconnected. The wire is brown with white stripe on the engine harness. Plug sits below PS pump.
