Coolant Issues Update
Hey guys as you know i have been experiencing issues with my Cooling system. Search my name and the last dozen threads will pertain to my issues. Ok I decided to pull the Spark Plugs out of the car today as the car has been sitting for a few days to see if the Verdict is Coolant Seal Failure. I am waiting for my replacment thermostat from the dealership, Another one of the things i have marked to do to resolve my cooling system issues. To my suprise none of my spark plugs were wet after removing them from the block. Am i clear from Coolant seal Failure?! here are a few pictures of the condition of my plugs with only 3000KM. Your guys expert analysis of these plugs could ease my feeling that its not the seals. I am sorry about the quality of the pics as they are taken by my cell phone digital camera.

Here shots of the other 2 plugs. The post should have migrated all 4 in one thread sorry about that guys. What you guys think? looks like just carbon buildup eh? are they ok to put back in? they seem pretty used up with only 3000km, unless my analysis is wrong.

I have stuffed the Plug holes with Cotten paper, once i get my Thermostat tommorow morning i will put in the battery and crank her over and see what spits out of the holes. But if it were the seals shouldnt the plugs have been soaked wet? they were dry, one of them looked slightly wet but when i sniffed it, didnt smell like coolant and when i touch it, was color of oil.

i would suggest using this http://www.pineappleracing.com/index...ROD&ProdID=142 if your paranoid about your coolant seals and are willing to put a small amount of money towards finding out. i know is was worried on my fresh rebuild when it started dumping coolant, mine turned out to be a loose drain plug from the rebuild. but i didnt want to wait for that tool and i had enough parts laying around the shop to make my own here... https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/champagne-test-w-video-754076/ post #13

well my plugs are apparently in good shape nobody has said anything about them looking at the pics being culprit of a coolant seal issue. I am gonna check the drain plug aswell tommorow to insure that its tight at the block and at the radiator and also the clamps on all the hoses connecting to the radiator.
