Coolant issue or injector leak

Hello car had been sitting for a week today i stared her up and it seem like it idling bad if i try to push gas peddle it back fire some smoke but not bluish white just like a cold day smoke when the car is cold so i just wait leave it alone for 3-4 min and it seem the car is back to normal idling.I have check the spark plug at night befor this happen they are all dry no coolant no gas smell. The car did this 3 time alredy the pass 3 month can it be that coolant seal is going and flood?cause i been losing coolant. I been adding maybe less then 1oz coolant once a week. The level drop to the same spot and if i leave it with out adding some more coolant in and drive it for weeks seem like it just stay there at the same level never drop lower then that.I have check all coolant line check pulg filler cap AST cap seem to be normal no leak no wet plug.I did pressure test the coolant system connect the tester on the AST put 17 psi in it leave it over night drop to 8psi next day.And one more issue if i leave the coolant cap off and stared the car coolant would just push out rightawy even the motor is cold is that coolant seal issue?

^that last bit doesnt sound encouraging. Are you seeing any bubbles at all?

Does your low coolant buzzer come on? If not, stop adding coolant. You may be just overfilling the system and the extra is getting pushed to the overflow.

Signs don't point you in a good direction. My car did that in the beginning before needing to replace the motor. I probably drove it around for another 6 months before it got too bad.

Hoping thats not your issue.

To day i stared her up no bad idling and i did the bubble test there are a few when the car is warming up i guess there are some air trap in the system but after car is fully warm let it idle for 10 min no bubble.Anyway if the cooling system is not the issue that cost the bad idling can it be that i have leaky injector or it's dripping that cost it to idle rough is i let the car sit for a week or more?

it may be the beginning signs of coolant seal failure, it happened to me when my coolant seal busted.. horrible idling and backfiring.. however after the engine warms up a bit the car drives just like normal. Just be sure not to overheat the engine and look into a rebuild in the very near future.

Can an injector leak cause such a problem? My '93 does a similar thing (only 10k since complete engine rebuild). After sitting a week or two, it (sometimes, not always) runs rough and smells pig-rich for 30 seconds or so, then idles/runs fine. No coolant loss either. Since it is intermittent, I haven't been too concerned, but I am curious as to what would cause this. Thanks.

^Are you running a PFC? Sounds like it could be an injector I suppose. I'd suspect if it was spark related it would happen all the time. If you only have 10k miles on the rebuild, I wouldnt be concerned about the motor esp if the exhaust reeks of fuel. How many miles on the injectors?
