Coolant hoses

Tried to search. Is the barb on the rear rotor housing near the intake manifold a feed or return and what does it plumb to in its factory state? Also does anyone have a pic of where they feed coolant and return their coolant from for their single turbo setup? Thank you

It is a coolant line that runs to the backside of the throttle body on stock cars.

I believe it's necessary to keep this plumbed in some manner.

I recommend looking in the cooling system threads. You'll find these in the FAQ sticky.

Coolant at that fitting/point is just leaving the combustion side of both housings and irons. Good place for an aftermarket temp sender, but probably not going to a good source for your single turbo coolant line.

that's probably my favorite picture of all time. When I get my own place, I will have it blown up and framed.

from the looks of this diagram, i can simply bypass the tb coolant lines by running a coolant hose from the rear rotor housing to the thermostat housing. awesome!
