Cool round rear lights?
On ebay I came across this nice FD. I love the round rear lights.
Does anybody know where to get them and how much it is?
Thanks

I have a set for sale that need repainting (painted black right now) and a tiny bit of refinishing (which is easy cause its fiberglass)
I'll sell them for cheap

I've seen these on a black car and they actually looked good. Any other color, they look like crap (imo).
Also, the RE kit is the best looking... they rest of them just look like a sticker over the lights... kinda like what you see cheap *** CRX's driving around with - the holes are way too small and they just look lame.

Banned. I got OWNED!!!
this piece only looks good when painted black. that way, it will look stock except for the round lights and larger lip on the top. if it is painted the body color, then it looks REALLY ugly!

Paint from the inside how to?
I decided to go with painting the inside of the tail lights to get the new round look.
Ryan in Florida does the conversion for $65 plus shipping both ways.
Because shipping back and forth takes almost two weeks I would like to do it myself to safe time and money.
Anybody has detailed instructions on how to do that?
thx

Well I think if you had done a search or looked in the rate worthy threads you would find out about this. I did it to mine in about 3 hours. Know that I know I could do it in about an hour and a half. If you have a normal house oven it is easy. In a nutshell, heat up the lights to get them apart take out the lenses inside paint them so the circles are in the lens and heat again to put back together.

I did the tail light conversion for 65Imp (Mike). It's $50. I do it for fun for a lot of people. I use a heat gun following the instructions given out at the Iluvmyrx7 link. Don't use the oven to heat up the silicon.
It takes 4 hrs to do it. It's not too hard if you want to try it yourself. Good luck!
Oh, PM or email me at davidDchang@yahoo.com if you have any questions.
