Hey everyone. Im sure this has been covered but the search function is down.
Im installing an HKS EVC EZ II boost controller. I removed the vacume line from the Actuator(Wastegate Control). I ran the solenoid "OUT" vacume line to the Actuator (wastegate control), and the solenoid "IN" to the vacume Turbo manafold. I also ran the last line to manafold absolute pressure. I just want to make sure i diddnt miss anything and i did it right.

Assuming the HKS solenoid setup is same as Profec, this is the proper setup:
Replace the line that goes from primary turbo housing to wastegate actuator (short, contains pill) with a line running from the turbo housing to the HKS solenoid (IN port), and then run a line from the HKS solenoid (OUT port) to the wastegate actuator. Cut the stock line running from the rat's nest to the wastegate actuator and plug both open ends. Then run a boost source to the HKS controller (or COM port on solenoid if that's how it works with the HKS). You can get the boost source from the passenger side UIM nipple or by T-ing into the MAP sensor feed.

There are two lines from the rats nest because of the solenoid valve in the middle. Does it make a difference if i plug the one from the wastegate actuator control to the solenoid valve, or the wastgate control solenoid valve to the rats nest??

There is only one line from the wastegate solenoid (at the front of the UIM) to the wastegate actuator at the front of the turbos. Plug that line and the corresponding nipple on the wastegate actuator.
The short 2nd line leaving the wastegate solenoid goes to the rat's nest, there is no need to do anything with that one.

Ok thanks rynberg I pluged the right one then
. I got it all installed correctly but im now getting a 8-6-11 boost pattern for some reason with the volume on the controller turned all the way down. Was i supposed to put the pill back into one of the lines running to the controller?? Also should i be worrying about the 11psi when the secondary turbo kicks in with just the Base mod mapping on the PFC??

Your pre-control line should have been left alone with its pill still in place. The wastegate line should have been replaced with your boost controller install, with wastegate line pill no longer being used.
You should be getting a 7 psi boost pattern unless you are experiencing boost creep from a midpipe or something.
Can you take a picture of your setup to verify?

It sounds like i did everything right. I diddnt do anything with the line that goes to the pre-control, and the line from the wastegate actuator that goes to the nipple on the manafold was removed, and the lines for the controller went on each end. I will try and take the intakes off tomorrow and take a picture just to be sure i did everything right. I am running a midpipe which is one of the main reasons for the controller install.

You have three solutions to solve the creep:
1. Port the wastegate, which will require removal of the turbos.
2. Install a restrictor plate in the exhaust.
3. Replace the midpipe with a hi-flow cat.
Or you can just run at 11 psi as your minimum -- but when the weather gets cold, you may creep worse.

Ok that makes sense. Thanks again rynberg, you have been alot of help. I guess i will have to think about if i want to port the wastegate or put in a high flow cat.
