Constant beep at ignition..?

Anyone know what this means? I haven't tried starting the car up yet because i'm slightly afraid of what this beep means..

The sequence of events are as follows:

I put in the key and turn it over to ign., wait for the initial beeps to go through and then sit for probably 10 seconds or so, after which a consistant beep starts from somewhere under the steering colum and just.. stays. just beeps until i pull the key. The only thing i can see is the ABS light is on, i haven't had the car long enough to remember weather that's suppose to stay there til the car is started, or if it goes away after a few seconds like the air bag light..

any help would be appreciated..

Is your seat belt buckled? Is your door closed?

I would start the car and see which lights stay or go.

I use to have a 1st gen that had the rev limit buzzer go bad, it would drive me nuts and then I unplugged it.
