Home depot route really is the easiest.

I take it people want measurements and dimensions? That really was the hardest part to it.

I have the cad file that was actually the easiest... Unless you have the tools laying around like the 150+ dollar band saw.

I ended up making a spacer and mounting them under the UIM. I might still be interested once you get some made up though.

Eh? Isn't that where the coils are located originally? Do you have any pictures of the setup you're talking about glass?

Yes, I just decided it would be cleaner to keep them there for now, it only takes me 30 seconds to get to with everything on. I got rid of all the hard lines and useless brackets and made my own with a spacer in place of them. I'll see if I can get a picture in the next few days or so.

ejm,

Yea, remember, I'm the guy who put up the original thread on it in the first place. I already used my saws and tools to get the correct measurements for depth and clearance using a cheaply available piece of aluminum and a few other techniques to allow flush mounting.

I'm in on this if its going to be done this winter. I've got some work to do on the brakes in that area anyway, so it'll have me on a roll, cleaning out those corners of the engine bay.

Ok he got the brackets cut, its just the radius of the bend with the thickness of the metal that is the problem. He's going to try a different radius and hopefully this time it will come out right. I posted some pics since my other links are dead, I also have a pic of the cut piece of metal.

sorry it tooks so long, he was having problems with the material thickness and bending radius. Holidays didn't help out much either. They are being shipped to me from Chicago (300 miles from me) on thursday so I should recieve them on friday and have pictures installed Saturday or Sunday.

I'm in but would like to keep T2 coils. I think they are the same bolt size?

I dont have a set of T2 coils.... you could always drill your own holes if you wished. I would really need to see the coils to see how they measure up.
