So I had the starting problem : turn the key, nothing happens (except a click-click when I release the key)

So I checked my clutch switch, it was looking good BUT the small plastic part of the clutch fork was broken ! This is the part supposed to push the switch, so I pushed the switch manually and the car started ! Yeah !
The question is, does anyone knows a good trick to replace this small plastic part ?
It seems it's part of the pedal clutch fork ( F147-41-140 ) which is affordable (5$) but I would appreciate any tip for replacing this plastic part only (without having to remove the clutch fork), maybe it's possible to remove it from the new and reinstall it on my old fork, but it doesn't look like so.
For now, I just putted a small piece of plastic tube, it's working great but not for a long time I believe :

I hope I'll stumble upon something cushy / rubber that fit.
Though, I like the idea of screw+nut, with a rubber cap at the end of the screw. May be tricky to find also...

For years I've been using rubber stick-on feet that are designed to stick onto furniture legs. They are commonly available at hardware stores.
They don't seem fancy but they work, I've had some I've put on YEARS ago that are still doing great.
Someone a while back found a Nissan part number that would work and pop into the hole if you want to go that route. But, really, the stick on feet work great.
Ok, the rubber stick-on feet were insanely expensive at my local shop, but I found a white plastic piece that I screwed along with 2 washers and nuts on the pedal,

Anyway, I'll let you know when my 'silly ****-fix will come off But for now it's working like a charm and doesn't move at all.
Yes, but they are the correctly sized push-in bumpers for the FD clutch pedal fork hole and similar to OEM in thickness... wasn't that your original reason for making this post?
Replacing the rubber bumper is significantly easier than replacing the entire fork, so you were on to something there. Good find on the fork tho. Not sure why you didn't opt for the real deal Mazda part.
Here's the problem with what you've done: you increased the thickness of your switch bumper by a factor of about... 4. From the factory your pedal would have hit the hard stop further down on the pedal bracket before the switch plunger bottoms out. You've changed that. During a hard shift your clutch switch probably now acts as the pedal stop before the pedal reaches the bumper on the bracket. I wouldn't expect that switch to last long unless you've been skipping leg day.
I didn't opt for the real mazda part because I didn't want to wait 3 weeks for delivery and because I only need that small rubber part (And, didn't really want to replace the entire fork) that's why I went to my local store to find such rubber part, as DaleClark mentionned. But they were really expensive and not really appropriate in matter of size, that's why I bought those white plastic parts instead, and I didn't take care of the thickness nor the hardness of these pieces.
If it's just a matter of thickness, I can still easily adjust them. But, they will remain more hard than rubber...
The thing is, since mine was litteraly collapsed into dozen of fragments, I didn't know exactly what it looked like... I only found one photo that I posted in my first post, but unfortunately it doesn't really help with thios angle of view and I can't figure out its lenght/thickness, width etc...

Just remove the clutch starter switch which was put there for pussies. Permanently connect the two wire going to the switch.
Why is there so much rust on your metal parts? Was your car soaked in salt water due to flooding?

I'll remove this clutch switch if it get out of service someday. At the moment I want to keep the car the most stock as possible. And I really like this originality, cause here in Europe we don't have those clutch starter switches. I just find it funny.
the rust is indeed pretty weird. That pedal is totally rusted. I have no clue about the reason why.. The car has traveled a lot before getting here in France. From italy, canada, usa (and maybe other countries) but the chassis and most of the parts are well preserved with little rust. So I don't care too much about this pedal mechanism because it's not possible to see it unless sitting upside down in your seats 😀
