clutch suggestion
my clutch on my car is nearly done. i have a ACT but dont know which one.
current mods: mild street port, apexi intakes, full exhaust, lager smic, PFC tune at 7 psi.
exedy/act/centerforce?
sorry im kind of on a budget and i cant spend 1k on a clutch.
i already have a 11.5 flywheel at home with the counterweight on it. im also going to replace the pilot bearing and seal with throwout bearing as well. is it better to go with oem bearing and seal? or aftermarket better?

*Alot of threads on clutches, but ACT Street/Strip is pretty popular and plenty for your mods. Last I recall, about $500.
*AFAIK, only MAZDA makes the pilot bearing and seal, but personally even if Autozone carries one, I'd stay with OEM. You'll need the tool to get the old one out. Search for "pilot bearing tool" for info on doing that.
*Replacing the throw-out bearing is a good call. Also stay with OEM.
*Some other things to consider.....
A new clutch fork. They have some history of failing from fatique, especially with a new, stiffer pressure plate. ~$55
Rear transmission seal and new gear oil. ~$6 and $30 respectively.
If your removing the stock flywheel, it's also a good time to re-torque all the tension bolts. Free.
