Clutch disk dilemma

When I pulled my engine, I got a bit of oil on the clutch disk so it's no longer useable (it had 200mi on it! ).

Anyways, I am having a super hard time finding an ACT replacement disk. I had the HDMM kit in the car. So far all I've been able to find is a near new brand new (500mi) Exedy stock disk.

With the ACT HD pressure plate (40-50% more clamping than stock), and an exedy stock sprung disk... how much power should it be able to hold?

I am currently going single and should have no more than 380whp at a max.

This car will be tracked this summer, so I want to make sure this disk will hold up for at least a season. I will most likely go with a twin disk next winter.

Anyone with experience with this please let me know ASAP, as I want order this disk right away if you feel it will support my needs.

Thanks.

For the most part, how much the clutch will hold is driven largely by the pressure plate. Basically, it should be about the same torque rating with the Exedy clutch disc.

that's good to hear. The HDSS kit holds 400ft/lbs according to ACT. So you think I will be OK with this disk?

I guess I'll go for it then...

I'm pretty sure most of the act heavy duty clutches use the stock disk. The extra torque capacity comes from the pressure plate.
