Wiring harness question.
I am in the process of simplifying my engine harness for an A-spec gt35 single turbo build. I have a few items that I am thinking about adding to the harness.
1. Innovate wideband
2. FJO injector driver
Q1.Should I add the wideband O2 sensor to the harness and does anyone have a pic or measurement of where this should tap out of the harness.
Q2. Should I install the FJO driver in the cab near the PFC and run wires in the harness or install under the hood and run wires to the injectors?
Q3. Should I retain the factory O2 sensor wire, although I don't intend to use it?

I would not add the innovative harness to the stock harness it will just complicate it and make it so you have to remove whatever datalogger/gauges you have hooked up when removing the engine or if the wideband controller needs replaced it will be a hassle to get it all out. My lc1 is mounted inside the car so i really don't know where you would install it with the stock harness.
I have no input for the injector driver, never used it or really payed attention to how big it is.
I would Keep a short wire for the stock o2 sensor wire right at the ecu connectors. You never know what new things people will find that could possibly use this wire for an interesting new tuning method trick *shrug*. Though i have never once used it in the last year and a half so who knows, but its just one wire anyways.

My suggestion is to keep your harness intact and sell it. Especially, if it's unmolested. Fully intact harness' are gettin' difficult to come across. If you'd like to go this route, I'd even be interested in purchasing or trading for my single-turbo harness.

Thanks for the replies. I have already started on the harness. It wasn't in great shape when I started but the simplification removed most of the damaged wires and connectors. The other connectors that were damaged were for the fuel injectors, which are being replaced with Bosch units. I will leave the wideband out of the harness but I am still unsure about the FJO driver location.

If the FJO driver is relatively small and you have room near the ECU I think connecting it close by is optimal. It probably just has power/ground connections and then the injector wires get spliced and have IN/OUT's to the unit. This is my guess anyways without having messed with one. Maybe use small connector plugs on the injector wires so that it can be easily disconnected. I doubt it would fit through the firewall with the harness soldered to it, and needing to cut the wires and re splice would be a hassle later on.
