Clutch Disc

Hi guys. My clutch disc have a problem, it wears and tears. So need to replace. I need your advice. I have JDM RX7 type R 1994 year MT. Have full stock clutch on my RX7.
I need to have a reliable and durable clutch disc. Is it only possible to replace by stock clutch disc, or may replace by other brand one, when I have stock pressure plate(clutch)? I want to replace only clutch disc.

Thanks.

What mods do you have? Even if you do replace the stock friction disk, it may tear up again quickly if your car is making more power than it can handle.

Do you have any modifications? How many miles did your last clutch disk last? Do your flywheel and/or clutch pressure plate have any significant hot spots or wear? Do you have any future modifications in mind? Is this a street car or do you track it also? I'm sure there are more questions but you'll get a lot more help if you answer these.

I have no mods. Only put K&N air filter and Trust exhaust. Car may have 280hp, not more. I use my RX7 on street, on track and for drifting as well. I think flywheel and clutch plate are in good condition and they are stock.

So what con you advice me now?
If it is better to replace with non stock clutch disc, tell me which one I should to buy?

Do it once and do it right. Put in the ACT strip street pressure plate and disk it provides room for future mods and it can handle abuse...

+1 The ACT S/S clutch is a great one. If you're daily driving, tracking, and drifting your car, that's a lot of abuse that the stock clutch isn't going to like.

You are very likely to have clutch chatter problems if you do not replace the clutch plate and resurface the flywheel.

I'd recommend you upgrade the clutch with an aftermarket one. It will cost more but it will last many times longer than the stock clutch with what you use your car for.
