Check this out!
This R1 just came onto traderonline last night. From the URL I'm guessing it's about to go on eBay too.
My first impression was that its a real FagWagon; OTOH, I kinda like it. Geesh, I hope I'm not turning queer! Maybe if that yellow trim were dyed back to black??
Anyway, no accounting for taste & price ain't bad @ $13.9k. But I'm looking for an automatic (preferably black & 94 touring) to share the garage with my stick. If anyone sees one, give me a holler. Have cash, will travel, don't mind doing an engine transplant if the price is right.

i spent a lot of time looking at those pictures trying to find this big ugly horrible flaw you all found...I failed.
Throw a Mazdaspeed steering wheel on there, shift boot and ebrake cover (total 400 dollars...MAX)
pull the wing off, seal up the holes....100 bucks
I change my freaking wheels as much as I change my underwear.....every other week...
After you do that you have a wonderful CYM....for 13.9 .....stop whining

this car has been for sale for at least a year. i live in south florida and periodically check the auto trader. Besides the way it looks, i would assume that it has other issues and that is the reason no one has picked it up.
who would do this to such a nice car???????

You could sell those seats, wheels, and wing and easily cover the cost of used stock equivalents (and some new interior bits) and have a pretty nice low miles yellow FD for a pretty good price.
Which would lead me think that there are other issues with the car if it has been on the market for a year.

I pity the person that gets in a wreck with the harness mounted like it is.
I agree with WinterUSMC though, a little bit of replacing parts here and there, and it could make a decent car.
