Changing the backlight color on the gauge cluster?

yet another interesting question.I know its possible for my wifes car so I would like to know if its possible for the fd.The fd has red backlighting on the gauge cluster. Can the bulbs be changed out to blue or green for example.Or is this an impossibility with our gauge cluster?

The bulbs behind the guages are all white, which means they are shining through a transparent, colored material. The only way i can think of to change that would be to replace those transparent pieces which is probably more trouble than its worth.

P.S. I have the white faced reverse glow guages in my fd and they look nice.

Or what about the jdm gauge cluster? Any difference in lighting there?

I just got back custom Blackcatcustom.com replacement guage faces for my HKS meters. I had them make new ones so that it would match my modified NR Auto gauges. I'll post pics a little later to the thread.

They can do most color combinations - back lighting, face colors, face design, fonts, etc:

I once saw these really sweet gauges on rxecret7.com but there not on there any more. They had red faces with white letters. But they were allways $2,000.00, i emailed them if it was a mistake and they said no. I guess no one ever bought them so they removed them from the site. I would of got them if they were cheaper.
