car wont start. searched
ok the legendary "my car wont start" problem. I've done some searching for the past hour but w/e I couldnt find anything that helped so here it goes...
yesterday i was cought in some massive torrential rain and i was on a main highway driving about 30mph because the visibility was about 15-20 feet. yeah the car went through some big puddles and such but i still made it home. i parked the car at home and i went outside about an hour after and the car didnt want to start. the engiine wouldnt turn over, nothing. i did have working lights, radio etc so i dont think it was the battery. i waited about 2 hours after that, and the car started right up. i parked it in the garage and left it there over night. i come to start it today and its doing the samething. no clicks, nothing. i just turn the key and nothing happens at all cept my fans come on. i do hear a little "pumping" noise when i turn the key, maybe thats the fuel but other than that, nothing else happens. after about 5-10 times of trying to start it i started to smell fuel so im sure its flooded now if it wasnt already. i tried charging the battery for the hell of it too and still no cranking. what can this be?
p.s lately when i cold start in the morning or something my battery always seems drained because it turns so damn slow. wtf?!?
please post if you are helping. i dont want to hear any repost bitching or anything. get over it. for the people that are willing to help, thanks in advance, i appreciate it!
