My car is running rich and i cant figure it out. i just recent replace my rad n air filter. i had the car sitting outside a lil over a month. can it be a ceature in my car making it burn bad gas? it smell like bad gas

how did you diagnose its running rich exactly? from the exhaust smell?

 

i m guessing cause the exhaust smell so bad. i had to tell my friend to drive bhind me to cover, he was like swearing "**** it's killing me, the smell". so what do i do

 

What does your exhaust consist of? Stock Cat, Pre-Cat?
Mods, otherwise?

These cars run rich from the getgo but it shouldn't be anything too drastic. In fact it's just enough to be kind of "cool" yet not obnoxious :P

 

its a rotary they have a smell to the exhaust becouse of the way they burn the air fuel mixture as it doesn't burn it completly. Plus they burn oil as well, and if you have your cats still on the car and one of them is bad it will just plain stink like bad eggs.

 

i got a full hks hi power. Rocking mayb ur right the catback. my car never smell like tat b4, hmmm. i got stock cat.

 

get an ecu upgrade
