Pressure test the cooling system.

Unhappy

IMHO the engine in this car is Toast, Oh dear another motor toasted by an owner with little or no knowledge of the Exotic engine under the bonnet.

The temperature gauge was made for Idiots. If it moves from the lower part of the reading you have BIG trouble.

This engine has blown the apex seals no question, In the UK when my car has its DMV MOT test I make sure the car is well cooled when they do the emmisions test because when parked up they get Hot. If your car overheats never mind BOILS OVER its goosed....(thats English for Fucked)

There are loads of threads in many areas about FAN Mods etc.....

You guys have super weather and so must be VERY carefull not to let the vehicle over heat.

Sorry about this guy but you REALLY DO NEED TO BE MECHANICALLY SYMPATHETIC with these cars.

And not expect them to be like a Honda, Nissan Etc....

It seems that your motor is gone. Hitting redline on the temp gauge is certain death on FD's (nevermind your symptoms). I haven't of met one person who didn't need a rebuild soon after hitting the H.

sorry man. But still I hope that I am mistaken about your engine though.

It looks like someone will be changing their name to "pistonsownu", LOL.

Someone mentioned bad seals, like when the headgasket blows on a piston engine, the coolant boils and goes to the overflow cause hot gases are entering the coolant passage ways. Either way, it looks like its tiem for a rebuild.

I can have you a shortblock ready in a couple of weeks. If you let me know now you can choose how it is built.(streetport, 3mm seals) Like everyone above has said, it needs a rebuild.

I know lots about these cars. I didn't know my fans quit working. Thats what the problem was.

If the fans are coming on, and you still have an issue, then I would guess that a new motor might be coming your way.

It seems that you have replaced everything, so get a compression check and go from there.

Yea you quite driving it, but you let it overhead 6 times you said? If you know much of anything about these cars you wouldn't let it overheat even once. As soon as the stock needle starts to rise you should switch it off immediately. I dont understand how the temp sensor on the PFC wasn't working and you didn't immediately think that wouldn't somehow mess up the actuation of the fans?

Sounds like your motor is toast, there are plenty of rotary people in VA, you just have to look

I did quit driving it. It kept overheating cause I didn't realize my fans quit working when I was using my AC. So it's not my fault, and I wouldn't have let it overheat if I knew. I didn't realize the water temp on the PFC quit working til it was to late. But I scheduled an appointment with PFSupercars to fully bridgeport my motor with intake and exhaust ports and replace everything, put my T04R on, and FMIC on. So it's all good.

Like I said before, I figured it was because of air in my coolant. Then it happened again. Then I replaced the radiator cap that was broke, happened again etc...don't have to be a dick, if you want to be don't post anymore in this thread please.

I'm not being a dick, I'm being sarcastic. It's in my nature. Sorry if that offends you.

Anyway, we could spend hours telling you that the first thing you should have replaced was the TEMP SENSOR so that you knew what your water temps actually were and so that your fans would come on...but you know that now, so there's nothing left for you to do but to take your car to a good shop that's around and hope you don't have to buy new housings and irons to go with that rebuild.

It's cool wasn't sure if you were being sarcastic or not...But I was gonna go ahead and replace every internal plus bridgeport, intake and exhaust port while it's there plus turbo and fmic. Have it all done right for sure and good. Hopefully hit over 500 pump with alcohol. PF said it's possible so we'll see.

Are you taking your car to PFS?

If you want a bport, I'd reccomend buying a complete engine from BDC. His port work is masterful to say the least.

Yea it's going to PFS. I seen he did good work he was my next option I was going to go with. But since PFS is doing the turbo and tuning and FMIC I went ahead and chose PFS.
