car idles fine but when revving it when it comes down it idels rough and then smooth.

Hey guys i just got back from school this evening and as i rolled up my driveway and put the car into neutral, i usually let it idle for 6 minutes to cool down the turbos etc, anyway tonight i did just that and i noticed that my car was shaking a little but the idle looked fine, so anyway i revved it up a bit and when it came back down to its normal idle at just under 1000rpm the idle went rough and then it smoothed out to normal, i did again and same thing, when it does that it seems the engine is about to give out but then its smoothes out back to normal, and it happening everytime i rev it when it comes back down to its normal idle thats when it does that, any ideas? other than that no starting problems and the car idels just fine, only rough idle when i rev and it comes down to its normal idle it goes rough and then it smoothes out back to normal. any ideas? i have my air pump disconnected if that could be a reason

mine does this too, but is also followed by a loud rumbling from under my car near the cat. I think it's my cat, because it sounds like it's tourched inside with loose briquets inside of it.

I know exactly what it is. It's probably the dashpot acting up. I tightened up my throttle cable and fooled with the dashpot(you can lengthen the rod length) and idled it just a tad I mean tad bit higher, Back to perfect. No biggie.
