Can't find the pills need help!
I'm working on installing the home depot boost controller and I took out the vacum lines that are suppost to have the pills, they are not there! The turbos got replaced a year ago so I'm guessing that the pills didn't get put in. What will happen if that the case? what will happen if the pills are there and I start tunning the valves with the pills in the location of the 94+ that are in the turbos (which I don't know where)? When I got the car I had boost problem (8-4-4) got that fix by adding a DP. Then my boost was 12-8-12~14. need help asap. Thanx

Hey. I have the same boost problem. And all hoses were checked etc. But could not diagnose the problem.

How did you figure it was the precat?

I just took a wild guess that seem to make sence. a DP is not a bad idea. It will lower your under hood temperature and make the car run easier. It wasn't just the DP I also had a bad vacum line and a leak in the pipe that goes from the IC to the TB, that was crack right at the seam of the collar that goes in the TB.

It's possible that you don't have pills, but that the nipples are the restriction on your car (which are on the later FD's).
