Is it UK or Australia because it's RHD. i think its Fe2 and PZ originally what kind of seats did it have?

THANKS 😊
Australia prefix is JMOFD103xxx (1031 = 92/93, 1032 = 93/94, 1033 = 95, 1034 = 96-98).

Europe prefix is JMZFD

You have specified a USDM VIN.

JM1FD331 is US LHD spec
8 is the security check digit
P means 1993
0 Hiroshima plant
205841 is the serial number

If yours is RHD and has this VIN then it may be a numbers job / rebirth

Try an engraving or trophy shop.

Or take that picture and have a magnetic photo made up.

Juan Alcantar aka Vintage Rotary Details makes a whole range of Mazda build plates and can custom stamp them just like factory. I don't know whether he does an import FD version but he would certainly be able to design one. He's having to catch up on a lot of orders due to COVID related delays over the past few years, so you would need to patient I imagine.

Nah, it's due to the way the forum software parses Facebook links.

look up VintageRotaryDecals on Facebook to find the page.

I value my bank accounts more than learning this information.

As you guessed, your car is likely a third week of January 1992 manufacture.
Hah, totally fair :-).

Awesome, thanks heaps :-). Nice to know the build date, always interesting, its a JDM car, imported into NZ in aht late 1990s. 99.9999999% sure it wouldn't have come with leather seats originally, would have had the black suede cloth ones. Ive recently managed to source a non-stuffed set of these, so its starting to look pretty original and fresh in the interior again:-). Pretty sure only the Type X came with leather, also a sunroof and auto climate control.

Yep my bad. I misinterpreted the interior code. Will be the black suede/cloth.
