i was looking at the msd 6al, and it has the 2step rev limiter. would this build boost off the line, i know how you build boost off the line i just dont know if the msd works like a stutterbox and goes back and forth or just sits there....

any help would be greatly appreciated...

 

People build boost by brake boost, which is just for automatics. You cant really build any boost with a manual since you'll be at no load. The 2 step will just bounce at the desired rpm. If you mean building boost by holding the gas down more than you need to hoping boost will build, then I don't know. You have a PFC right? Just set the rev limiter on the PFC to like 4,000. Just pretend its a 2 step haha. And just take a look at your boost guage to see if boost builds.

yeah i have the pfc, ill try it and see if itll work, my buddy has an eagle talon awd and is putting on a big 16g, and launching full boost, i would like to be able to stay with him off the line...
