Can a BOV vent all my boost??

Just put on an Apexi BOV the other day and my boost gauge is showing boost but is climbing way too slow. Only like 8-9 psi by 4.0-4.5K and the car doesn't pull at all. The BOV doesn't make any venting noises even at 8-9 psi letting off. I also have it set to the loudest setting. Any ideas?

Hmmm, you should be able to vent boost at idle (I think 4 PSI is as much boost as you can get without engine load).

Let the car idle with the hood up and rev the car. If you don't hear the BOV sound off, either the BOV has a problem or something isn't quite right with the installation.

Do you have this problem with the stock bov??? Maybe its just leaking where its attached to the IC pipes or something.

It basically just sounds like a leak somewhere. Did you remove and pipes to install it that you didnt replace tight?

Sounds like boost leak.
Had the same problem.
Check the 1" hose from both BOV and BPV.
If you can rotate the hose then you need to replace it or tighten the clamps. I replaced mine with steel braided.

That must have been expensive.
