Hey guys, it wasn't my idea - these Porsche guys have been doing this for awhile.
However, I don't think it's a "terrible" Idea just because we're all unfamiliar with it...
Seriously, how often are you guys "bottoming out" anyway? XD
I'm sure it could be executed nicely, perhaps with a low profile fan and some sort of ducting. Hell, maybe I'll try to do something like this when I put my car back together. Just need to get the car up on the lift to see what kind of space is avail...

They also have more than one condenser no? If you mount your condenser flat, you will lower its efficiency by a major margin.
