They also have more than one condenser no? If you mount your condenser flat, you will lower its efficiency by a major margin.

Ok so I agree it isn't a terrible idea but since you are in the boroughs as well, I would be too paranoid a pot hole or man hole cover will rip it right off. The roads in NYC are by far one of the worst imo @_@

More than willing to share my mounting info. Again, check out my A/C install thread. It shows pretty clearly how the lines were run. If Ihor is helping do the fabrication and install, just have him contact me if he has any questions.
