my water pump leaked a lot to on my fc.
I've heard that there are some good rotary shops in ny. Maybe see if you can have one of the mechanics look at it before you buy it.

The next big question are you good with cars?

I'm L.I N.Y. If it's a stock seven my mechanic is really good. He has a sweet 3rd gen of his own with 11k miles on it.

just curious, (sorry for the thread hack) who is your mechanic here in Long island NY?

Trueno, where in LI NY are you located? when you buy these kind of cars you must do the following:
- check compression
- leaks -( Oil pan- very common on 7's, AC lines.. even though its 15k miles)
- does it carry a aftermarket boost gauge? if so whats the vacuum reading?
- test drive the car and see if suspension is still ok
- Control switches for windows, mirrors also check the antenna motor if its still working.
- then do a carfax report.
