I think the only proper way to fix that is to replace the fan. It looks like the plastic fan part became seperated from the metal center "hub". I wouldn't try to glue it back either mainly because the fans are relatively cheap to replace ~$30-35 or so. The part number according the parts fische is...N3A1-15-140

I would just give Ray Crowe a call on Monday and have it shipped out to you.

Do you know why the fan broke? Is there any evidence on the fan shroud that the fan was striking the plastic hood? If not...just replace the fan and before you put everything back in...I would jump the fan relay that is on the passenger side and double check that they are spinning fine.

I just re-read you question about the motor..

The only problem is the motor is fairly expensive.

If you think the motor is FUBAR'd then just plug it in and jump the relay to see if it still works. It's easy to do...

I would too but I'm not sure he would want to go thru the effort of making a shim...the inner bore of the fan for the 99spec/RX-8 is LARGER than our stock ones.

Where can you get 99spec fans? The fans were broke before and someone fixed them when the PWR radiator was installed. What do i need to do to put a new fan? What will come off of the fan motor? I'm asking this cause i don't want to seem anything up worse than it already is. And i know the motor is still good its just it came apart again.

Someone offered me a the whole fan assembly for $150 shipped is this a good deal?

You'll have to drop the radiator so that you can remove the fan bracket assembly to get to the fan spindle. Pretty easy to remove and replace the fan blade assembly after that.
