Brake Discs for RS, RZ, Sprit R?

Hi All.

Apologies if this has already been covered.

In my ignorance, I attempted to purchase new discs for my 97 RS Edtion FD only to discover during installation that the standard discs are smaller front and back. I live in the UK and it looks like my only option is to purchase through RHD Japan if they are even available in the first place.

Could any of you confirm if these are the correct discs I need? From what I understand the RS, RZ, and Spirit R all had the same brake setup. Also, did they ever do a drilled rear?

Front: F124-26-25XA (Undrilled)
Front: F176-33-25XA (Drilled)

Rear: F124-33-25XA (Undrilled)
Rear: (Drilled) ?

Any alternatives that work would be great also. I've already combed through the main supplier's catalogs e.g. Brembo, Pagid etc, and found nothing. I also reached out to MTEC to see if they would consider manufacturing them as they offer a wide variety of machining on all of their discs, but no luck.

Thanks in advance

You mixed up the front and rear. Otherwise yes, you have the right part numbers.

RHDJapan -> FD -> Handing -> Brake Rotors and then search 17. Should pull up a nice long list of options.

If you aren't fond of navigating RHD Jesse Streeter gets excellent reviews here in Australia.

Just get some aftermarket 2-piece ones. I got Project Mu SCR-PRO but there are many alternatives like AutoEXE, Endless and more

with Mazda part numbers the first 4 digits tell you what the part was designed for, in F124-26-25XA

F = Rx7, 124 is the variant. it gets weedy in a hurry, but like the FD01 is a base model 92-95, FD03 is an R package, etc

the middle two are the system, 26 is the rear axle, 33 is the front axle, 15 is cooling, etc

the next 3 tell you what the thing is. 26-25x is a brake rotor, 26-151 is the bearing, 15-200 is a radiator, 18-880 is the ecu, etc
the 4th digit, is the change code, it tells you what revision they are on, it goes A-Z.

if there are two more, it would be a color code. for instance F138-51-960C-40 is a 99+ rear wing in blue, and F138-51-960C-PZ is PZ black

so F124-26-25XA is a rear rotor, 26-25x
and F124-33-25XA is a front. 33-25x

makes no difference if you're buying both, but if you just wanted one or the other it would be bad!
