Is it necessary to buy brake hardware kits for the front and rear if you have all the old hardware? Would it be smart to change it out?
Thinking about doing a full job on my car.
All new rotors front and rear
All new pads front and rear
Maybe all new front and rear brake hardware kits?

For disk brakes not so much an issue but for drums replacing the hardware is usually a good
move. The hardware is cheap and everything works better with new hardware.

They are discs on all 4, so I'll use the old stuff.

The disc brake hardware is hard to find aftermarket. It's just the clips that hold the pads and the pad backing plate. It really doesn't go bad unless it's completely rusted. Don't lose it because it can be hard to find new ones.
