oh to be young... I currently have an hks SSQV BOV and I HATE IT. Too loud but you may like it though.

FYI-Since it's actually welded into my cold pipe I rather not get another type that I may hate just as much. But there's is hope as recirculating it into the intake is the quietest way to go.

Edit- BTW purchasing a BOV on a relatively stock car is a waste of money. Try disconnecting your stock bov from the intake. As that may be the sound you are looking for and at least save you a couple of hundred bucks that you can actually put towards something that matters (A.I. hint hint)

The Apexi BOV has the traditional BOV sound. There is a kit for it so it fits in the stock location without any welding. However, I'm not sure if it's still sold. As mentioned, you can vent the stock BOV. Since the FD is a MAP based system, venting the stock BOV does not cause any tuning issue.

If you're worried about air getting into the engine through a vented stock BOV, go to the hardware store and buy a "swing valve" for plumbing. It's basically a check valve with a flapper so air can only go one way. You'll need some other hose and fittings to make it work.

There are also a number of aftermarket BOV kits that don't require welding.

on the intake box you'll see 2 large hoses and 2 smaller hoses

disconnect the 2 smaller hoses from intake box and tie them back with a wire tie or something

You should try the stock bov first. Its the ABV ( air bypass valve ) in stock cars and is closest to the air box. Just take of the portion of hose from the front of the abv to the air box and your done. I kept mine stock because it serves its purpose and it even sounds cool
