omg. getting an after market bov is pointless. stick with the stock one and get something useful, like a downpipe and new ast.

Aftermarket blowoff valves do not affect performance. Therefore any comparison between them is simply appearance, sound, or cost.

Technically, they do affect performance but not to a large degree:

I heard the synchronic BOV has an effect on most turbo cars which are MAF based. Since our cars dont have MAF's, i dont see if any would make a difference.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M2--IIMSa9A

I also heard that this BOV (on MAF based systems) will prevent the rich conditions between shifts because of unmetered air so you dont get that black puff of smoke between shifts at WOT.

Not to mention better throttle response etc etc. I have yet to hear of an FD owner who put this BOV in their car.

Get one that you like the sound of. Or leave the stockers (yeah you have two) in and spend money on more important things...

Take a look in the Single Turbo setups thread:

https://www.rx7club.com/single-turbo-rx-7s-23/post-your-single-turbo-setup-33502/

You'll see people using all sorts of BOV's, so there isn't "one" that works better than others. Greddy Type R is commonly used.
