Bought the factory mud guards. What Hardware??

I'm wondering if anyone knows exactly what hardware I need to install the factory mud guards (front and back). I know I can use random screws to make it work but I want to make sure I do it the the correct way, like it came from the factory.

Any suggestions? Part numbers?

Thanks

from the factory there are these plastic insert things installed in the body for the screws to go into. if youre installing them on a car that wasnt originally equipped with them then you will either have to replicate that set up or just go with self tapping screws =\

I looked online at the oem mazda parts and diagrams but I could not find any hardware for the mud guards. The Mazda dealership basically does the same thing.

Sweet! I'll give my local mazda dealer a call. If you know the items numbers can you post it up? It would be easier to order it.

I don't know the part numbers. It was hard for them to find the diagrams for the mud guards, but they did prevail. You can still buy the mudguards new painted vr only.

Post #43 has info on the clips needed. Personally I'd consider appropriately sized, large flat headed stainless screws.

So I recently removed these mudguards. One thing to note is it has double sided tape on the outer edge.

I didn't really bother to go buy tape again since I was lazy but it looks fine

^yep meant to mention that in my earlier post. Takes the two-sided 3M molding tape at the hashed edges for a tight fit.

I used license plate fasteners/inserts from a local hardware shop. Clipped into the existing oem holes and worked like a charm... A little double sided tape was also used to reduce some gaps.

Edit:
Not fully certain, but I believe these are the same ones I used. Cheap option to try.
