Question boost spike on pre then half boost on secondary????help

ok so i put my car in the shop to replace the old paper gaskets with metal ( car ran and boosted well in a 12-10-12 pattern before work done ) also i had them install a cold air intake, since getting the car out of the shop ive had a boost spike up to 14 psi on the pre,
and down to 10 psi on the secondary I asked the shop ???s up they said ??? they want me to bring it back to them ( there shop is over 300 miles from my home) so i figured id live with it until i was headed there way again--- now ive got a bigger problem ------ pre spikes to 14 then drops to 10 then at 4500rpm or so the secondary drops it to 5 spikes very fast to around 8 or so then drops to 5 againjust as fast as it spiked.
please help ( also the turbos were replaced about 12000miles ago )

It could be that they accidentally switched the connectors for the wastegate and precontrol solenoids. The symtoms you describe are exactly what happens when these two connectors are switched. Try switching them and then go for a CAREFUL test drive, easing into the boost slowly. If they aren't switched, then your primary spike will be even worse when you switch them. That's why you should be careful when you do this. But if your boost is normal afterward, then that was your problem.
