boost spike.....

i have a 95 Base MB with a blitz bov and blitz intake.....58K miles on it....i had a boost leak before comin from my bov....i fixed it...and now during transition....it spikes up to about 13psi..... should i worry??? i DONT drive it hard EVERY drive....just happens ONCE a day or so.....

anything bad can happen??

Yes you should worry, I boost spike can pop your motor.

Basic rule of thumb on owning a high end performance car. When any little thing goes wrong, dont let it sit and drive it for 40K more miles, fix the problem asap, these arent civics ya know !

What is your normal boost pattern? A spike of 1 psi is "normal", but 2-3 psi is a bad thing. Check precontrol solenoid and wastegate for the secondary turbo.

Exclamation pattern.....

with the leak.....it was goin 10-8-8 and LOWER...with the leak fixed.....its 11-9-11 with spikes up to 13......... guess i better save up for the ecu BEFORE my clutch......

ecu does not control spiking, or boost for that matter. You can install a different jet in your turbo prespool line to reduce the amount of boost produced at the transition, or you can adjust the wastegate actuator i believe, apparently there is a rod that you can adjust to regulate the amount of spiking that occurs.
