Question boost senser gas filter ?

Hey guys, i couldn't find anything about this but heres my question. My friend broke the nipple off the filter that goes before the boost senser to filter the gas or whatever it does.

Is it ok to run without that filter? or atleast for like a day or somthing until he gets a new one?
let me know
thanks

I wouldn't do it. Mazda did put it there for a reason. You could damage the sensor running the car without it.

It is a solid element oil filter. Any inline filter will work.

You'll plug it up with fuel/oil vapor. It's not cheap to replace wither.

It will work. My car didn't come with one and I ran it for about 1 year before getting one.
