hey everyone ok check this out what do u think will cause this


i accelerate in first gear.......hit 10 psi steady once 4000 rpm kicks in drops slowly to 5psi and will not boost higher that 5psi unless i shift to different gear? its like if the 2nd turbo isnt kickin in right??

also i have mods that are a no no for a stock ecu i have downpipe high flo cat my boost creeps up to 13-14psi sometimes i heard i can get a restrictor plate does that actually help out, if so where ya get those suckers from???

dont know abt the boost pattern....dose it only happen in 1st gear?


14psi..i hope yove been saving for your new motor...
so your only mods are high flow and dp?


sorry i couldnt be more help, sounds like a sticking solonid..wierd it would only happen in first gear

 

yeah yeah i know its lean but i dont push my car i never let it go past 10 psi....i keep my eyes on the boost gauge dont go by the speedo once it hits 10psi i let off......so i should be fine i am gettin ecu after i see results of people runnin AEM if they suck i will buy a PFC or Haltech untill then i go slow..... but the boost problem is actuall in 1st 2nd and 3rd gear...4th and 5th i really dont push it thats when ive seen it creap( only creaped on my 3 times).....
