And I see you went back and edited-out all your posts with the name-calling and anti-homosexual comments. What's the matter, are you afraid of everyone finding out you're 18 years old and getting banned for a few days?

What does the mod "full exhaust" include? I'm guessing DP, MP, CB, replacing everything from the turbo exhaust manifold to the silencer. Is this correct? I know that a DP replaces the pre-cat, what does the midpipe replace? The main cat? Also when one installs a CB, what exactly gets replaced?

Thanks,

Ant

Thanks for all the help guys.

LostTime: I have only been running like this for about a week. I stopped driving it almost completely when I saw the risk. Thanks for the tips!

I don't run my car hard at all. I only give full throttle when getting on the highway.. That's when I really noticed the levels... I mainly do the mods to replace parts with more efficient parts. I did the downpipe to help decrease underhood temps. I liked the idea of cooler air, so I went with the M2 CAI. The hardpipes just look nice. My Y-pipe coupler went out so I bought Jeffsoot's Efini. I hadn't planned on any more than this plus a catback before an ECU upgrade... However, my boost pattern got me a bit worried. I have all the reliability done now, with the DP being the latest one... If I would have known my car would boost this high with the few BPU's I did... I would have already bought an ECU... Thanks for the lookout!!!

A PMS (EFI) should do right? I hear from both sides. Some like, some don't. I will most likely stay twin, but upgrade to M2 BB... What do you guy's think?

Dp replaces pre-cat
MP replaces main cat
CB replaces the piping that the MP doesn't and replaces the stock muffler.

Good way to get into it guys.

IMO, I would install a wideband O2 sensor & gauge. Why not KNOW what your AFR is and KNOW that you are either rich or lean, and (if you have an aftermarket ECU) KNOW if you can tune it better?

For the guys with stock computers and running 12-14 PSI, are you hitting fuel cut? If you are not, then maybe your gauge is wrong and you are not running that high of boost? Or have you got a FCD or something?

I was also surprised to find out that after installing a boost gauge with factory ecu,air intake and cat back which were my first mods I also was running close to 12 lbs.boost.Each car is different but one thing is clear there are alot of guys very paronoid when it comes to turning up the wick.I now have about every bolt on possible but still run stock injectors, turbos, eng.(only 31 k)and pettit upgraded ecu but have no problems
touching 14 lbs.(1/4 mile use only).I just don't run high boost all the time.A lot of people say no you must run a stand alone unit for 14 lbs., but so far no problems at all allthough I could be on borrowed
time. Run good fuel above 12lbs.and it's been suggested that with an upgraded ecu you can run @14
just not all the time. The magic cutoff for the injectors however is also @14 lbs.,so above that you are
certainly on your own.My best mod was going to a profec b as I was spiking like crazy when I tried the
manual valve controller(15-16 lbs.)yet other guys were having no such problems. Each car is different.....
