boost leak but where

So if im between 3k and 4k rpm in 3rd gear and punch it, boost will build until about 7 psi then ill just hear the pshh noise like a bov only it holds till i let off the gas usually. Sounds like its comming from driver side but the couplers all seem to be on solid. Any ideas?

Remove the couplers and inspect them off the car. You'll almost never see a boost leak without taking them off.

well.. it's quite similar to my fd right now..
my boost only goes up to 50kpa (7.3psi), in any gear, and after 4-5k rpm, it just drops slowly eh.
and once i shifted to next gear, you don't feel/hear car gonig as smooth as before.
and boost doesn't go up that smooth. it hesitates, in other words, it kinda goes up really slowly, and doing the same thing..
well.. first time i thought it was cuz i was almost grinding my clutch away..
cuz the clutch was almost gone...
i realized it after i toasted my clutch in a short period of time, after i noticing that.
but still i doubt that... because even if your clutch was grinding away (i barely felt it), your boost should still peaks to certain point smoothly.
i'm just afraid that it might be my problems on turbos.. or could be caused by that clutch and little bit of boost leak maybe..
any brain busters on this
