Boost leak

i pressurised the inlet to check for leaks....as i have a low 8,7,5 boost pattern.

Noticeable leak just behind (firewall side) and underneath the throttle body. Can't pinpoint it at the moment, its damn hard to get a clear view. I don't think its the inlet pipe or throttle body flanges. Not sure what pipework exists under there, will get my workshop CD ROM out now and start digging.

Does this sound familair to anyone ??? Any tips ???

Trouble is if i remove the inlet elbow to get a better look....i won't be able to pressurise it again to replicate the leak !

I'm using a spare wheel at the moment as a reservoir for pressurised air but it don't last long !!!

to add to this...

the motor pulls at good 18+ inches of vac at idle. The pressure leak was only really noticeable (audible) at around 4 psi.

This is the opposite side of the block to the LIM gasket right !!!?

Make sure the AWS hose is firmly attached at both ends.
