Boost issues Fixed!

So my FD (93 Touring) is stock except for M2 DP, Fluidyne Radiator, mild streetport, and slotted rotors. It was boosting 5-3-3 and after Paul at AIM tuning in Indianapolis got his hands on it, I'm boosting a perfect 10-8-10! So many things were wrong with it, I can't go into too much detail or this post would be really long.... I drove it home today and wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!! Lots o fun! Can't say enough about those guys at AIM! They are fantastic and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

please go in to detail, my friends FD is currently out of commission right now because he's boosting 10-3-3.

His mods are different, he has a 3"dp, hi-flow cat, racingbeat catback, GReddy intakes, fluidyne rad and petit AST.

Please, detail.

Local to me, about an hour and a half or so from you.

If you're serious, I can PM you directions from hburg to our area.

and if you are serious, do you think you could help with his oil burning issue too? I don't mean to take advantage of your kindness at all.

A bottle of CD2 will help with oil burning. Good stuff.

it's actually a leak somewhere in the enigne bay causing the oil to drip on to the downpipe right at the O2 sensor. When the oil hits the dp, it sends off a cloud of black smoke from the engine bay.

There were several problems with lazlodawg's FD.

There were several hoses mis-routed and missing. One of the major contributors was that he had a Greddy hard pipe to the lower factory Intercooler that was installed incorrectly and had been rubbing on the crank pulley. Enough to gouge a hole in it bleeding off boost.

Plus the throttle body o-ring was missing and one of the studs was boken off there.

Thanks Pauly,
