The fuel filter is in the mail somewhere and was suppose to be here already. I can't swap ECU's until I start my manual swap since it is an automatic. I have most everything except the TT tranny I am trying to swap my TII tranny for a TT one. I appreciate everyones input and will try the voltage reading on the FP and switching the fuel filter as soon as it comes in.

I change the fuel filter (fun) and the FP is switching fine. I guess my car is possessed! :-P any other ideas?

I've seen a similar issue with an EVO... turns out it was the spark plugs. Ordinary ones don't handle the heat / extreme conditions of turbocharged engines.

Your problem may very well be electrical or fuel related, but it won't hurt to check those plugs.......
