boost creep issue..wastegate already ported..

I had my engine rebuilt and my turbos before (sequential) never gave me a boost creep problem(the wastegate was ported 1.24"). I got my car back w/ new motor and had the turbos set up non-sequential, but now have some creep issues it seems. I have not set my profec B so I should only be seeing 7 to 8 lbs. right? When in third gear from 5000 to redline it wants to slide up over 10 lbs. The motor has been "broken in" by the way and I have never had these issues when I was sequential. Could my turbos been swapped for stockers?THanks.

Ive heard this normal for healthy turbos. Yet try to work with your profec to hold it, if anything set it at 9 and let it creep to 10, even a creep into 11 isnt THAT bad as long as your running 94 octane. (Premium) Im currently running non-seq with gutted cat and stock muffler and I set the home depot boost controller and If anything im getting restriction. When I get my catback, I shall see.

Full 3 inch exhaust including not cat? Dude SET the boost controller if you STILL have creep after that then sorry your going to have to restrcit exhaust flow some how. Silencer or w/e way you want to do it.

Downpipe, resonated midpipe and catback.. I thought if you got the wastegate ported it would take care of any creep. It did when I was sequential. Does converting to non-sequential propagate new issues? I was thinking my turbos might have been swapped. I don't want to pull them unless I have to. Thanks for your insight so far.

I don't know about G but I've got the same problem and gain didn't help. But I also ported and gasket matched the upper and Lower intake, Throttle body and removed/gutted the double throttle butterflyes! I now creep from 8psi up to 15psi by redline. I'll be reporting the wastegate after the Revolution next week!

Did you do the FULL non-seq conversion or the poorman's non-seq?

The full non-seq does free up a little less restriction so you will flow a little better. That could be just enough to overflow your wastegate. Here's a good thread on what other people had to do with porting the wastegate didn't completely solve their problem:

No offense but are you asking to blow your motor? Your not running it like that right? or do you have race gas

When I first ported my wastegate, I just did a straight port job on it and still got boost creep. Within a couple of months, I had my turbos off again and decided to re-port it. This time I contoured the back side of the port so it was a smoother path for the exhaust. I also took some material off where the wastegate opened so that it could open more fully. My boost has been controlable even in the cold of winter.

Aviation fuel for $2.29 a gallon. Also have tuned conservatively rich.
