Which boost controler

In my quest for a ECU I have been told that no matter which ECU i go with I should run a seperate boost conroler.. Right now I am running stock twins but have plans for a single.. what kind of boost controler should I go with. Manual or electronic. Which one will I be able to use no matter what turbo configuration I am running..
What do you guys think..

Thank you,
Craig K

Although this has been covered MANY times, I will point you in the right direction...The Apexi PFC is a good ECU choice and has boost control built in (if you are close to stock)...there is also a strong following so support for this product is out there, and here too...However, once the mods start accumilating, it gets harder and harder for the PFC to control boost accurately...I installed my PFC after intake and catback and I couldn't ever get the boost I want...I now have the profec B which was a breeze to install and is very reasonably priced...When I searched it was going to be the Blitz SBC-ID boost controler but topping in at $500+ I decided to go with the cheaper but very effective Greddy Profec B. Main reason I chose this route is becasue I really don't need 4 different boost settings and I already have a boost gauge and the Commander already gives you a boost reading. No need for another. That and I rarely get to drive my car...So with the Profec I have two settings...Right now Low is at 10psi and high is 12-13 psi...Hope ya find the right controler for you

I found this online

GReddy PRofec B-Spec

Product Specifications
The PRofec B is our answer to a number of tuners and enthusiasts who wanted a GReddy boost controller that was less expensive–and demanding–than the PRofec. The fuzzy-logic PRofec is still the ultimate controller but its programming requires patience–and consistent engine parameters. The engine can't have occasional leaks or suffer "boost creep." The PRofec B is a great choice for street cars and those equipped with sequential turbochargers. It's not recommended for large-displacement engines with small turbos or quick-response turbos.

So will the Profec b still work when I go single..?

Thank you,
Craig K

I got the new Profec B Spec II. Works excellent, running .82 Kpa or 1.20kpa the variance is less than .05 from my desired set boost level.

And it has cool features like a warning level that turns the display a red from a cool blue color when you reach that boost. And also a limiter that if you hit that level it'll drop you down to 7 psi.

Plus its even a little bit cheaper than the regular Profec B.
