Bonez is basically a Rotary Performance (RX7.com) brand. You either get it from them or find one used. There are some cheaper alternatives, I believe both GothamRacing.com and RX7Store.net have their own Hi-flo cats.

Hi makjik, which of those will quiet down the exhaust tone. Currently, i have ported motor, single turbo , dp + mp + greddy ti, it is too loud for me. I would like to install a high flow cat to reduce the noise.

Thanks

If all you want to do is quiet the sound, look at getting some Borla muffers and just pay an exhaust shop to weld them in place. That would be a better solution IMO for your situation.

You have enough space on the exhaust to fit 2 of them if needed, but I would try one and see if that gives you the sound you are looking for.

HF cats imo are pretty damn loud. If you're not worried about emmissions get this http://www.rx7store.net/product_p/resmidpipefd3s.htm

This will really quiet things down.

I take that back. It appears the Borla is a little too big for 2 of them, but one should be fine. Magnaflow has a smaller one which you could fit 2 of them, but one Borla XR-1 should be enough.

Thanks for the info. i think i will go for borla, it saves me some money : ) , but the problem is they dont have a muffler that has 3" inlet. Can you show me which one i should get, btw i have the rx7 store midpipe, i believe its a 3" pipe.

Thanks

You will choke that single turbo with a hi-flow cat.....do what these guys are suggesting and weld a Magnaflow oval muffler in. You also have a really loud cat-back, so something like a Racing Beat exhaust would quiet things down a lot.

Of course, this is all a moot point if your wastegate is dumping to atmosphere.

A resonator pipe does help quiet the engine down, but in my experience, a more restrictive exhaust will make driving the car more bearable. I'm currently running a Racing Beat dual tip exhaust, and the car is still louder than stock, but not irritating. I also triple-sheilded my exhaust heat shield with extreme dynamat (i figured every bit helps) and currently dynamatting and sound-insulating my trunk floor. Also, the lower your car is to the ground, the more noise will be deflected back into the cabin.
