Okay, i was giving my brother a ride to the Dentist. I started my car on the freakin cold and foggy morning, notice that i dun have my 3krpm.. so anyway took a light drove till my car warmup, it's smooth driving on my way there , not much traffic. after i drop off my bro. took a u-turn and headback home.
this happen on my way home. I stoped at a light, the car bog and idle jumps up and down all of sudden , i giv it a lil gas and it smooth out again, when i giv her sum gass again, she juz bog and went dead... i tried start and it juz bog and went dead again..sumone tell me wat happen.

help..i 've search other thread and most ppl end up replacin engine..

yup sounds like the battery went dead how old is the battery? Do you have aftermarket pulleys? what about an aftermarket system? you may have some kind of a drain on your system somewhere... it could be a loose wire or something like that. hope that helped a little.

You said you didn't get the 3000 RPM warm up. Also, did you recently do anything in the engine bay? Could be the boost sensor came loose, or a vaccuum hose.

 

Zero, your engine is toast?

 

If it isn't the battery, could it be the alternator? If you weren't hard on the boost before hand, I don't see why it would have blown. Especially if you were stopped at a red light, theres nothing to make it blow.

When I blew my engine, I could start and drive the car just fine. It was loud as hell and had little to no power, but it started and moved under it's own power. So I'm ruling out blown engine. If that makes you feel any better.

 

I got a new engine about 2 months ago. My wallet is not as heavy now, so when I dragrace I get a better time.

"Are you sure its not your map sensor"

Then we got the $6500 bill. Sad but true.
