BNR Stage 2's

Hey Guys, I was considering going with these because I can't afford to go with the 3's right now. I just wanted to know, from those of you that have them, how you like them and why or why not you would get them. Thanks guys

(I searched but it won't let me use 2)

I have the Stage 2s running sequentially - I can't comment on how I like them yet because my car is on the dyno now and I haven't seen how they feel sequential. I ran them non-seq and I thought they were a little laggy - full 13-14 psi boost by 4200 rpms running parallel. The Stage 3s see 17 psi by 3800 rpms - much more responsive. There's only been one dyno with the Stage 2s running sequentially and it was 386 rwhp at 15 psi. I should know my numbers tomorrow if everything works out right. Im guessing I'll see 15-16 psi by around 3200 rpms running these sequentially - we'll see. It's definitely a cheaper way to go for more power if you don't want to have the expense of a single turbo.

Yeah, he tore out my differential and it was trashed. I got a used one from a forum member and it's installed now - Dave's pretty confident this was my problem - I'm hoping anyway - I'll keep you guys posted.

I'd either wait and see how kwikrx7's turn out or save up some more and get the stage 3's. They are around $400 more but I feel worth the difference.

Stage 2 = carbon seals
Stage 3 = dynamic seals

Difference is response. The Stage 3s will spool quicker. Stage 2s will make around the same power as Stage 3s as they use the same compressor wheels. Bryan knows more about this. I didn't hear back from KDR about my dyno session so I imagine it didn't go so well - this is getting old....

I have had my stage two's on for about a week . I am also breaking in a new street ported core so I really havent been able to get on them yet . I have noticed the primary does spool up fast .Much quicker than my old stock twins .My plan is to go seq for the spring and possibly go non-seq for the drag events this summer .I am scheduled to hit KDR on 4/7 and I will post my dyno run then. My goal was 370 rwhp and even though I havent even engaged my secondarys I think I will be happy with my dyno run .This motor pulls like a beast at the low end of the power curve it could be the downpipe and the street porting .I will fill you in as this continues

I pulled down 370 rwhp at 15 psi (stage 2s) still running a cat and 9s all around for my plugs. I think these turbos start to come alive at 14-15 psi and if run at 17-18 psi would easily put down over 400 rwhp even running a cat. The stage 3s are just more responsive, but the stage 2s running sequential is plenty for me. Bryan does nice work and I would definitely recommend him if you're thinking of a rebuild or upgrade.
