no. running the OMP.

I was thinking too... I had a boost hose pop off while doing a pull. Could I have possibly overspun the turbo and caused damage to the oil seal?

I don't know if this would be the problem, because if it was the turbo wouldn't it be smoking all the time?

The turbo in question is a TD06-20g and has less than 2k on it.

It seems like something is pooling while the car sits and then gets burned away when the car starts. Faulty oil injectors perhaps?

i wouldnt be worried too much, my FD does that too. it could also be fuel that is building up and we all know FDs flood like that. maybe get out and stick your nose in the muffler and give it a good smell. that will tell you what it is.

my fd smokes when you let off the throttle suddenly but it clears up after a few seconds.

if it was your oil injectors failing they would leak out their tops where the vent line hooks on, so if your primary turbo inlet is filling up with oil then thats what it would be. so just pull off the elbow and check. another way to check them is to grab the vent line and you should be able to blow through it, and not suck through it.

so how do you like the 20G? i was thinking of getting one. where did you get it? what rpm do you have 10PSI? how much hp are you making at 10PSI?

Thanks for the info. I'm not too worried since the car runs just fine... it smells like fuel to be honest, I just always though fuel was more of a blackish smoke.

As for the 20g, I love it. Full spool at 3400 RPM (1 bar). I haven't had it dyno tuned yet (only road tuned) but I'm running wastegate pressure right now which is 10PSI and it pulls like a bat out of hell.

even with the OMP, you still want to premix.

without the OMP you would just add a lot more per fill up

ya i know i should.. since I am running the OMP, what ratio should it be?

I work at Yamaha and can get the Yamalube 2 stroke oil for cheap, is that something that I can use?

INJ vs Water temp correction table to adjust AFR's, if it is in fact mostly fuel. Warmup AFR should be in the 12's for most cars.

corner seal clearance if it's oil, assuming no turbo problems. I tightened up my corner seal clearance (filed down new OEM side seals) on the new build. Smoking ceased completely once I got the warmup AFR's tuned. that's not to say there's anything wrong with your motor that would require you to tear it down, it could just be a little blowby.

Mine does that too sometimes.

Sometimes it would do it when i let the car sit for a couple of days, sometimes not.

Sometimes it even does it when i start the car up the very next day, sometimes not.

I think its normal?
