If you mean this one, it's the output of the EGR sensor from the EGR valve. Connects to the ECU (PCME) to monitor the EGR valve condition, i.e. open or closed. Early models did not use its function, so it was left floating.
Maybe this forum thread can help?
If it contains brown/yellow and brown/white wires, it's not the EGR monitor connector. The EGR connector uses (according to the 1994 FD wiring diagram) brown/black and light blue/green wires.

R - 2nd gear switch
Br - Neutral switch
this is what I'm referring to, br/y is the fuel temp which i removed but the br/y needs to be connected still to the pressure sensor
