blocking off oil injectors

Do you guys just use a standard bolt to block these off? Keep the rubber seal in there? I'd like to get the exact length needed so that the bottom of the bolt seals against the lower rubber seal.

Any special precautions here? Threadlocker needed?

I know this is a very easy thing to do but I just want to double check I'm nto overlooking anything, I mean this is a direct entrance into the CC.

If it was me I'd take an oil nozzle with me to the store and get a bolt that will thread in exactly as long as the nozzle did

why half *** it why take a chance why trust what others don't know for a fact
if something goes wrong on your car at least you know it's not related to that
...although you better have a hell of a plan for removing the omp

Taking the injectors to the store won't help much, unless I 'd take the lines with me too. The injectors are too long to screw in the whole way with the lines removed.

What kind of plan do i need for removing the pump? I'd rather rely on my own mixing than a mechanical pump especially when I'm unsure of it's condition. Also I want to run synthetic, but premix with MMO. I've done the research and decided that this would be the best. Especially since I may end up running a turbo with a dry center section (if I must).

if the motor is fresh and the pan isn't on...you can removed the shaft/gear, IIRC there is a snap ring on the inside of the front cover, and the assembly pulls out. You might have to use/trim a different spacer [e-shaft] for the correct end play.

OR just remove the pump, then cover with the block off plate.

if you remove that pump, you must premix with a two-stroke oil with TC-W3...MMO won't cut it.

There's not really a problem with running synthetic motor oil with a properly running OMP.
