isn't socal the kind of place where you don't want any blockoff plates visible at all? If you plan on passing inspection I would be very careful with what you remove. The ACV and airpump for example will be needed to pass a tailpipe test. If you don't fully understand what something does, read up on it before you remove it.
The double throttle system is designed to keep you from being able to go WOT when the engine is cold. It really has no effect on driveability at all. But again, I know Cali inspectors are very strict.

it is the definite solution furry. But Im picking up a rich mans non-sequential setup...and I found out that I don't need that solenoid with that set up. Which I planned to do anyway. Made no sense to pay to have something fixed thats being removed. But yes... you need a double throttle solenoid. That's the source of our boost issues/irritating noise.
